Bridge Point Charter School is a tuition-free public K–8 STEAM school opening in Indian Land, South Carolina in August 2027. The school will serve approximately 400 children in grades K-6 in their opening year and grow into a full K-8 community of more than 1000 students over their first four years.
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) isn’t a class at Bridge Point – it’s the lens through which every subject is taught. The curriculum is standards-based and approved by the South Carolina Department of Education, anchored by the nationally recognized Project Lead The Way program.
Building a school where every child is known. Class sizes will be intentionally small in the early grades. Teachers will meet weekly in grade-level teams that begin every meeting with one question: Do you know your students?
STEAM is integrated across every subject, every day, every student. Students learn math through engineering, writing through design, and science through problems they can see and touch. Not after-school clubs - the core curriculum.
The instruction is hands-on, project-based, and built so that every child - including English learners, students with disabilities, and students who arrive performing below grade level - has more than one way to demonstrate mastery.
The proceeds from this loan will be used for two purposes: a $138,000 earnest money deposit to secure the building, and pre-development expenses for the 31.89-acre property.
Lancaster County’s panhandle has grown nearly six-fold since 2000. Indian Land is one of the fastest-growing communities in the Charlotte metropolitan region. New subdivisions are filling every month with young families, many of them moving south from Charlotte. But the schools are at or over capacity and the population growth puts a strain on the educational infrastructure in the area.
In 18 months, families across Indian Land will be making decisions about where their children attend school in August 2027. The choice they will have depends almost entirely on what is built in front of them in the next year.
Documented, urgent demand
700+ students have expressed interest. District schools are at capacity. The need is real and the families are already there.
Infrastructure in place
Authorization in place. Campus identified. Development partner engaged. This is a school ready to be built, not a concept being studied.
Founding team that has done this before
The founders have launched multiple charter schools across multiple states. This is not a first attempt.
Full accountability
The school will be accountable to families, the state, the authorizer, and investors – with measurable outcomes from day one.
Bridge Point is being built by leaders whose careers have been spent doing exactly this – combining instructional excellence with financial rigor.
Dr. Nataliya Panasiuk
Founding Principal & CEO
A career educator with more than two decades in K–12 schools, Dr. Panasiuk has launched and led both a 9–12 charter school in California and a K–8 charter school in South Carolina as founding principal. She holds a doctorate in educational leadership from Drexel University and is known for building schools where high academic expectations meet a deeply human culture – and where children, teachers, and families all thrive together. At Bridge Point, she leads the academic vision, the instructional model, and the daily work of building a school where every child is known.

Chief Financial Officer
We will open in August 2027. We will serve the children of Indian Land with the academic rigor, the structured environment, and the personal attention that every child deserves and this community has been waiting for. We will be accountable to families, to the state, to our authorizer, and to the investors who made the opening possible. And we will produce the kind of results that, four years from now, will let our investors point to a thriving school and say, I helped that exist.
That is the project. That is the opportunity. That is why your support matters now.
