Use of Proceeds & Repayment

The proceeds from this loan will allow Machine Career College to maintain daily operations and payoff a high-interest rate predatory loan.

This loan will be repaid from government receivables that reimburse on a predictable 60–90 day cycle.

These revenue streams are already earned, contracted, and approved.

Most of MCC’s funding is actually from the state, not the federal government. State funding (ETP, WIOA, and Apprenticeship RSI) make up the largest part of the reimbursements. Federal funds (such as VA and DOR), represent roughly 20 to 30 percent of overall receivables. The shutdown delayed payments, but the federal invoices outstanding are already approved and in the payment queue.
